The previous week was rough, or at least it felt that way. The content I had planned was trash. This meant more time spent creating new content, but the outcome allowed me to turn negative to positive.
The fact I was able to vent a little to you helped me move past what I thought was a major defeat. In reality, this was just another roadblock in the quest for side hustle mastery.
It showed me I will make mistakes and that I am capable of seeing those mistakes before it is too late. I may have been down on myself most of the week, but the motivation to do better is the gift earned from the trouble.

Voice-over was always the focus, but until recently had a small part in the activities. This week, I was able to turn baby steps into a brisk walk toward the first gig.
I originally was going to just stay on Covoco.com and Fiverr to see what happens, but I wasn’t doing much to get my name out beyond that.
So, this week I joined Voices.com and auditioned to be part of the talent pool for VoiceBunny. I was not accepted to VoiceBunny, however, the rejection letter was encouraging.
While I am not part of the 2% they accept, the reasoning gave me hope. Had I used a pop screen when recording the scripts, I could be part of that 2%.Â
I also refreshed the Fiverr gig for voice-over work. You can view it here. I also applied to join UpWork and within minutes of finishing today’s video, I was accepted.
